Here's one I picked up somewhere in my effort to get some cards that were going to grow in value. Even though you can pick this card up on Ebay for a couple of bucks because the sellers don't realize what they have and there's no reported sales of it to the price guides it's going to hold some future potential as the Pinnacle brand grows.
Pinnacle 1994 VIP Prototype Jeff Gordon
A Revolutionary Innovator in the Trading Card Industry Founded in 1992, Press Pass staked its claim as a revolutionary trendsetter in the trading card industry by incorporating the first ever athlete worn or used memorabilia into its trading cards. In its January 1996 Press Pass NASCAR trading card release, race-used tires were incorporated into the Burning Rubber racing insert. Later in the spring and summer of 1996, Press Pass introduced race-used sheet metal cards, race-used Dale Earnhardt fire-suit cards, and the first-ever game-used jersey basketball cards. This practice of using event-used memorabilia in the trading cards would drastically transform the trading card hobby and spawn a trend that continues today.
The Leading Manufacturer of NASCAR Trading Cards Since the mid-1990’s, Press Pass has been recognized as the leading manufacturer of NASCAR trading cards. Since 1993, Press Pass has been bringing the exhilaration and excitement of NASCAR to fans with some of the most innovative and collectible trading cards to ever hit the market. By offering authentic race-used memorabilia and hard-autographs from the sport’s hottest drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon, everyone knows that “If you want a piece of the action, you’ve got to get a Press Pass!”

Another Nascar set with future potential is the 1996 Wheels Viper Cards. Ron Hornaday crapped out but he did win some truck races. The Wheels Viper set was only produced for one year with excellent fonts and great overall appeal. The Nascar stars of this set should do really well in value in upcoming years.

The 1996 Press Pass Premium card set has chrome pictorials that react to lighting in a colorful way. Trying to get a picture of this card in its normal state hasn't been done by me yet. I tried scanning it and the diagonal lines used in the manufacturing appear so I did my best trying to get a picture. Counldn't do it after many tries. I got all bad shots and this is the best I could get with this card. The chrome on this heavy stock card really changes color fast. The normal color is a silver gray tone.
This card set is well done by Press Pass. The pictorial is great even though I've noticed in another set from Press Pass in this year they always show a pic of Jarrett with his kid. Must have been a special request by Jarrett himself or I would assume.
The Press Pass Premium card is one to watch for sure. The card shown in the picture really lit up but I had to have the lights on. Without the lights on in normal room light the silver and gray colors that are the normal base colors darkened the card to much to show people.
