My name is Sal, and I have collected hockey cards since 1989. I started collecting hockey autographs later that year and Starting Lineup figures when they first came out in 1993. Of course, when McFarlane Toys started making hockey figures in 2000, I had to collect those too. In fact, I have a problem NOT buying anything hockey-related. Books, toys and cards – especially cards! But I’m drawn to any piece of “junk” that has to do with hockey. I launched Puck Junk in 2007 to inform other hockey card collectors about the many different cards and collectibles – both awesome and awful – that have come out over the years. I am also a professional web designer, so it seemed natural to blend my interactive media skills with my passion for hockey cards. Since starting this website, I have been a regular (weekly to bi-weekly) guest on the XM Radio program “The War Room,” in a collecting segment called “Got ‘Em! Need ‘Em!” I have penned a few articles for Beckett Hockey Magazine, and currently write a monthly hockey card-related piece for The Hockey News entitled “In the Cards.” I hope you find this website both fun and informative.

This design is wicked. You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. I really enjoyed what you had to say.
